Baker Hughes donates $150K to Global Food Security
The Baker Hughes Foundation (BHF) has announced a $150,000 grant to five organizations that promote food security in local communities. BHF said the funds will help the organizations provide food and basic services to meet increased demand prompted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Oil Prices Jump while COVID-19 Cases in India Grow
Oil prices are on the rise, reversing some of the sharp losses as stock markets strengthened and the U.S. dollar slipped, though gains were capped by the coronavirus situation in major oil consumer India. Prices have come under pressure due to surging coronavirus cases in India as well as worries that the highly transmissible variant first detected there is spreading to other countries.

NOAA Predicts a Busy Hurricane Season
An overactive hurricane season could be in store for the Atlantic this year, with forecasters predicting as many as 20 named storms. In all, six to ten hurricanes could form in the six-month season that starts June 1, with three to five becoming major systems.
